
Dr. Elgouhari completed his medical education in Egypt and, after relocating to the United States, became affiliated with several prestigious institutions, including Long Island College Hospital, Wayne State University, Texas Tech University, the University of New Mexico, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, and the Cleveland Clinic.
He holds certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. At the Sanford School of Medicine, University of South Dakota,
Dr. Elgouhari has been deeply involved in teaching, research, and service, achieving the rank of Clinical Professor of Medicine in 2017. He has a robust research portfolio, having authored and contributed to over 15 articles in the fields of Hepatology and infectious diseases.

Dr. Ahmad completed his Internal Medicine training at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Odessa, Texas, finishing his residency in 2004.
He then joined a private practice in Yakima, WA. He earned his medical degree from Sri Krishna Medical College in Muzaffarpur, India, and holds a postgraduate degree in General Surgery.
Since moving to DFW in 2013, he has been part of Mercy Medical Clinic and works as a hospitalist at Texoma Hospital in Denison. He also has admitting privileges at Lake Pointe Hospital in Rockwall. Dr. Ahmad is highly experienced in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and COPD.

Dr. Yasir Lal is a board-certified nephrologist specializing in kidney disease, chronic kidney disease (CKD), and hypertension at the Texoma Nephrology and Hypertension Clinic.
He completed his Nephrology and Hypertension Fellowship at the University of Texas — where he was honored as the Most Distinguished Fellow — and a research fellowship in Diabetes and Obesity at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
With extensive experience at institutions including Baylor Medical Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center, Dr. Lal brings expertise in managing complex kidney conditions and difficult-to-control hypertension. He is known for his compassionate, patient-centered approach — taking time to listen, clearly explain conditions, and build personalized treatment plans that improve kidney health and quality of life.
